Privacy & cookies
A Strange Construction is a small prop shop. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell your information.
What we collect
- Waitlist signups. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and the date you signed up. We send you one welcome email to confirm, then use your address only to tell you when products are ready to order. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your address.
- Emails you send us. If you contact us, we keep the conversation so we can reply.
- Visit statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which sites send us visitors. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Type | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
asc_consent | Necessary | Remembers your cookie choices. | 6 months |
asc_admin | Necessary | Keeps the site owner signed in to the admin area. Never set for visitors. | 7 days |
Necessary cookies are always on. Everything else is off until you say yes, and you can change your mind at any time: . If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a no to marketing cookies.
Who else handles your data
- Vercel hosts the website and provides the visit statistics.
- Resend delivers our emails. It sees your email address and the message, and nothing else.
- Neon stores the waitlist in a secure database.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete anything we hold about you, including removing you from the waitlist. Email service@astrangeconstruction.com and we'll handle it within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
